Day 2 China （哈尔滨,大庆）
Slept relatively well and off to another day of activities

We were brought to a park w lots of snow! First time playing w snow!
Snow just brings out the child in mi!
Its amazing how fast we've gelled but I guess tts coz we only have each other for company in a foreign land
Dun ask mi what we were doing coz i dunno.
I dun look cold but its freaking cold lying on snow.
Even holding snow is cold!
We played snow balls. But we suck at making thou.

We had lots of fun. We went to a museum after that. Lin Jinxi aka Ironman. Check that name out and u might find someone synonomous with 大庆. After which, WE WENT SKIING! So fun! That's always what I've dreamt of doing and now its fulfilled! I din put on enough clothes so i was freezing but I love e experience of skiing down at top speed from the peak with the adrenaline pumping. Pics to come later because they are in a colleague's cam.
We had dinner at a super high class restaurant w the management of the company.
Just check out how big the table and the room is. The room is even bigger than the living room of an average 5rm HDB flat in Sg man!
We dined like King and Queens again. This is a very nice dish - sea cucumber. 1 each. 
This isn't ur burger patty but Foie Gras! So big and nice. One person served one like the above. It just melts in your mouth. I am now a fan.And so, Day 2 is almost over. I may seem like I am enjoying myself but i will rather be home counting down 2008 because ultimately, nothing beats home especially for a homely person like mi. I will be back with more updates very soon. Meanwhile, tk good care and Happy 2008!

Upon arrival at Beijing International Airport. Doesn't look cold but it was 1 deg.
The shops at the domestic flights area were disappointing. Merry X'mas though!
Gearing up for Beijing 2008!

Finally we arrived in Harbin!
It was really cold. -18 deg. I tried wearing just a jacket but can really feel the coldness.
Roads were covered with snow that made driving dangerous.
大庆 is certainly more modern than i thought so.
I was freezing while this pics were taken out in the open.
Had a late dinner at this restaurant where we were the only ones left and it remained open just for us.
We were given a VIP room. Here's my company for this trip.
Being the only guy has its perks and disadvantages. I am made to drink on behalf of e gals. Shucks.

We had steamboat. Chinese hosts are really hospitable. They spare no expenses in making their guests feel well at home.
This was one of the few pics i had of the food. Quite pai seh to keep taking. They call this 大闸蟹. why 大 i dunno but its quite cool coz there's words engraved on the shell of the crab. But i still prefer the ones back in Sg.
