Flashback: 26th July 2004
came to sch for some freshmen orientation program.made to don e graduation gowns which we wud be wearing come 2007.din know many pple at tt time so everything was a blur.from getting around sch to where the free carparks were.yes!i was tt swakoo.din know where the carparks were.everyone around me seemed to be getting on just fine, scurrying around like busy mice and minding their own biz.

Present:30th July 2005
a year on,1st wk of sch has passed.somehow after the long hols tt i had, still find myself being stuck in gear 1.as i walked around school,i saw the eager faces of those Freshies ready to begin their first yr and realised tt i m getting old.i thought abt those whom i know who has graduated.wow,it should be my turn soon.Yes,this seems cliched but Time does Fly!and it flies damn fast.i m in my 2nd year of my time in this varsity.in another 2yrs,i wud b joining the working world ready to take on a whole new of added responsibilities.today was a watershed day.totally slept the whole morn away.did alittle of my tut and yeah, tts abt it.

dunno y but body's stil aching frm the game of badminton i had w Dear, ber and jean on thur.i had a real smashing time.2hrs...well,almost 2hrs of solid workout on the court.finally the game of badminton tt i was gng to haf w dear materialised abeit in doubles fashion,me partnering dear V ber and jean.in the end, think we tied 6-6?but the real winners were our body and mind coz felt it shaved off some of those unwanted calories tt i had gained aft my ICT.felt it was gd bonding session as we learnt abt teamwork too.hah,we'll improve as a team my dear!

wkend seems to be running away frm me fast.hopefully will mit dear tmr b4 the wk begins for me on tue again...

12 weeks of hols just flew by just like this...

List of Awards for the hols (nah,i din even go overseas)

MOST WASTE-OF-TIME:
sorry there's more than one entry here...
1.my first ICT (In-camp-training) when i went back met those pesky men and learnt stuff tt would have no use at all if a terrorist decides to bomb the subway...ermm...MRT station..
i always asked myself why do we still need to learn to fight in the jungle?is there any pt in it?running frm trenches to trenches, leopard crawls, baby crawls,is it all for e sake of wayang?to guard Mt Faber?or Bukit Timah Hill?

2.My GE taken during this intersem.now,tt was a real waste of time...hehe...but i did clear it in e end!

MOST USEFUL THING I DID:
I worked!!yeah...i worked!!for almost 5 wks,i worked!okay...the money wasn't fantastic...but at least i earned a fair sum at the end...

MOST ENJOYABLE TIMES:
for this section, there are actu a few which i enjoyed...
1.it must have been those times spent w dear...jus doing sth relaxing like watching telly was great fun!

2.working w dear must be included into this section too...guess those days when we spent competing abt e no. of surveys tt we do,slacking during office hrs or jus clowning ard in office will definitely be missed...

3.e days when we went shopping esp e one when we shopped at bugis v..wow,tt was relli fun..

4.spending quality time w both family and dear.

5.spending quality time w my frens

MOST MEMORABLE TIMES:
again there's more than one entry here...
1.the look on dear's face when i removed her blindfold at 12am on her bdae and surprised her w a bdae cake and song is definitely the top of the list here.

2.close behind must have been the look on her face when she realised tt her frens were there to have dinner w her e day b4 her bdae.

MOST UN-ENJOYABLE TIMES:
no prizes for guessing but its the ICT again..esp e time spent walking in e jungle thru e nite..oei,i m a student leah...walk thru e jungle for wad?fight wild boars?

n there u go,think these is the main gist of how i spent my hols..somehow after not touching books for almost 3mths,think it'll tk some time to start e engine again...

yay!i m back!!
missed me??
haven blogged for a humongous long time.
for those who haven been updated,i m currently working as a telesurveyor.
for 'goondus', a telesurveyor is one who does surveys over e telephone.but actually my job doesn't just encompass doing surveys over the fone.its actually a chap-pa-rang job.everything u can oso bao.bao-ka-liao job.

let me tell u guys a story...
Guy K was desperate for a job after his reservist.
was talking to Guy J online while Guy B was working.
suddenly Girl B who is the gf of Guy J started talking using Guy J's account.
Girl B gave Guy K a contact number to try.
Alas,it was a job only for females.
Ahha, the person detected the disappointedness in Guy K's voice and gave him the number of her personal friend.
The rest as u can say was history...Guy K was hired!
The pay's quite gd and Guy K decided to rope in his gf to help.
Bonus is now tt they are working together.
i must say it can get pretty monotonous working as a telesurveyors.
meeting some rude freaks over e fone can be quite an experience.
Occasionally,i feel like talking back at them.
any idea who J and B are?gotta thank them for their 'accidental' help. *winks
Just went to an MOE exhibition at the Suntec City last fri and sat.
I realise some teachers are really rude!
if this is the sort of teachers that exist in the Education system,i'll worry abt those still in school or going to school.
Another observation that i made over the course of tt 2 days is the behaviour of the different races.
Okay,dun worry,i m not being racist here.
This is the behaviour when they are being asked to do the survey.Mind u,its just a short 4qns survey.Multiple choice somemore.
The typical Chinese will ask,"Must give name anot?do i have a choice not to do?"
Then he/she will proceed and give a list of grumbles like they were already forced to come amid with a "you killed my whole family" expression.

The typical Indian mother will most likely give a concerned look on the face at the mention of MOE.its as if the mention of the MOE will have some bearing on their child's performance/results in school. She will say,"okok.i'll do." and proceed to look worried.

The typical Malay mother in her headdress in my personal favourite. She will respond back gently and help u complete your survey. She will say,"yes, sure."

So u see the difference in all 3 races?I m not being racist and i m a chinese for e info of those who dunno but i can't stand those chinese who give the majority a bad name.

Actually i m sterotyping.

today was a rather eventful day.
spent a huge part of e day pple watching w Dear.
i won't say where i spent this day.
will try get some fotos uploaded soon so watch out for them.
but its relli fun being w Dear coz we can crap abt anything under the sun...
