Load of bullshit

People come, people go
Sure u've ur reasons for doing so
We haven't known each other for long
I guess the friendship wasn't strong
Things between us are same no more
All that exists is a mysterious wall
Graham Bell may have invented the telephone
It doesn't ring these days and I groan
We had plenty of good times
Definitely worth more than a million dimes
You were better than most of the rest
Perhaps one of the very best
We are busy with our own lives
Oh why did the friendship dive?
Why did things turn out this way,
I certainly hope for a better day

Yet another day of food, laughter and great company

Warning: Huge deluge of photos ahead!
Went out today with the twins-dear and her dearest sis. Haha. It certainly wasn't a case of "2's company, 3's a crowd" because both were good company. Of talk of people starting work while we were still walking along the corridors of cine certainly made me feel like a bummer. Well, a bummer I am, it will be my turn come Aug 13. In the meantime, I am still contributing to the Sg economy by dining 'out of my means'.

First up was a late lunch at yoshinoya. Never a fan of that place but since we had coupons, why not? BUT coupons are deceiving! Green tea cannot be changed with other beverages even though i offered more $. Not that I do not take green tea but the two sisters do not take cold green tea. Abeit my many grouses, we finished our meal. I won't be in a hurry to return.

We caught this HK movie. Similar to your typical HK film but the ending was stupid. Perhaps it has this underlying meaning "Do not do unto others as you would they should do unto you". Speaks of deep meaning and cheemness.

I suggested dinner at Nihon Mura.

Look at the signboard, with sushi at $0.99 per plate and believing that this was going to be a cheap meal, we all agreed to go there. Dinner would have been cheap if we had stuck to our sushi and main courses.

But again I suggested having stuff that are more fanciful. From L-R, T-B, we had sashimi, shisamao, breaded hotate, grilled octopus, baby lobsters, bacon with asparagus, a Jumbo roll (avocado with prawn inside), many more sushi which were ate majority by me and dessert of Mango Classic (mango ice cream, pudding, mango). Everything was good especially the sashimi and the breaded hotate. Good stuff.

The Decor was nice but music not so nice. The staff were funny, laughing at how big the plates were and how small the sushi was?

Shots of me! U can see my satisfied and contented face after the meal.

The elder twin

Seeing double? The younger twin. Lucky i can still differentiate.

Happy faces.

We left the place with our stomachs full but wallets empty. A good day.

Still bumming around awaiting Aug 13 and mum's birthday!

Let's start with the latest. Ytd was mum's bdae. We did not go to any fanciful restaurant but just an ordinary meal with the family, sis's bf AND dear! Yes, she had dinner with the fam abeit alittle nerve-wrecked. My folks- Happy Bdae Mum!

Yummy food we had

Does she look kan chiong to u?

I guess it was a good celebration because mum seemed in a good mood after that. Dad too. But his good mood could have been also due to some other stuff. Haha. For me, I was happy too. Best of everything. My family and dear seated together. What could be better?

Earlier in the day, we went to town. and i tried Pepper Lunch for the first time. Price is alittle on the steep side i feel

Our lunch

Us again!

And my N80 is no longer lagging! The sms is now super fast thanks to the good people at Nokia.

I had to change all the settings from the start. My smses were all deleted unfortunately

My girl got bored while waiting

We went to Chomp Chomp the day before. Another simple meal with sinful food. Sigh. When m i gg to start running?!!

Exploring Singapore

Yesterday was a day we spent exploring places we have never been to. Okay, I've been to this food centre before actually.
First up, I brought Dear to try the rather famous Adam Road Nasi Lemak. Really thumbs up!名副其实! I have to say that its nicer than those at Changi V but at a higher cost. Perhaps rental here is more expensive?
Next, we went to Villa Bali. Always wanted to check this place out and finally decided that yesterday was to be the day.
We found this colonial looking building. Perhaps in our excitement of finding the place we forgot to snap any pics. What we took was pics on this flight of steps leading to a coffeehouse. We saw dancing schools here too. What an ulu place to locate your dance school!
Dear tried opening the door
and i tried, but they just wouldn't let us in :(We got happy and kept snapping ourselves once there. I have never been to Bali but they claim its the 'Balinese experience'. Actually the place isn't that bright. These pics are edited.US while waiting to be served. We changed places after these pics were taken to a sofaMine's the sissy looking drink in pink. I dun really dig alcoholic drinks hence we went alcohol free againI took a sip... n boy! it was damn sour! This pic was not exaggerated or posed. For someone who doesn't mind sour stuff, it was sour! But as I got used to the taste, it tasted rather good.Dear and her drink. Sweet! Erm..I meant the drink. hahaha..fake~Us again. Who else right? It was a good evening spent under the moonlit sky with the stars for company (yeah, literally). I guess its a place worth visiting again. Dear caught mi lazing in this rocking chair while waiting for her to come out of the ladies. We paid good money so why not make ourselves at home?

Hot date

Did the title catch your attention?
We went to vivo. I love acting touristy. No chance to go overseas (yet) so have to make do with Sg. Big moo with small moo. Who's bigger? My itchy hands!
US :)
We caught this show. Seemed like a gd show initially but no ending. Abit long at 2.5hrs but well worth to catch on a monday. I dunno why GV Europa is more expensive. We would have paid $2/ea more if not for my quick thinking. But the seas were more comfy but i knocked my hands a few times on the drinks rest. Ouch!
Watch movie oso take foto! But i like!

A weekend full of FUN & FOOD!

WARNING: This is not to be viewed on an empty stomach.

What a weekend! Think i piled up several more kilos after this weekend.
Dear was finally fit enough to go out, barely 4 days after the extraction of her wisdom teeth.
And here i am, enjoying her company after an absence of 4 days.
She had congee while i had my fav 扬州炒饭. I totally dig the 扬州炒饭 at Crystal Jade!
Crystal Jade is still my all time fav food!
How can fried rice be enough? Swensen's next for ice cream! I love Lime and Orange Sherbet!
(Me) Being alittle too comfy. The seats came with cushions!
We took a walk around the Fountain of Wealth and found the metal plates with the Zodiac signs. My first time walking at the top.

Okay, so Friday came to a satisfying end. Saturday next...

We nua-ed at Starbucks to rest our feet our walking ard the vast expanse of Vivo. Guess who had which drink again?
We had sofa seats to nua in.
Another bout of expensive (as what Dear calls it) shopping has left me seriously in need of a cash injection. Anyone? No pics of my new acquistion till the day i first wear it. Prob convo.
And thanks to xy and nel, i got this! 10% off normally, 20% off for one week after my birthday. So guys who need leather shoes, look for me after 29th Dec! Ladies who need stuff for their bf, oso can look for me but no good to buy footwear for your loved ones.
I went with my family including my relatives to Sakura at Clementiwood Park. All 18 of us! This was a Fathers' Day dinner cum gathering. Happy Fathers' Day to all fathers who r reading this! The place was huge. 3 floors i think and food spread into 2 floors.
I hit the raw fish first. But salmon sashimi was constantly out so i gave up n hit the...
the mussels next! They were cooked and yummy!

Beef steak next! I had 2 of this

and 3 of this yummy chicken chop! I totally love the sauce!

Spaghetti was next

Pizzas followedPrawn tempuras up. Ate so much that i kept coughing after that

I know this looks sick but this contains 8 scoops of ice cream. Lime and Orange Sherbet again!

All the food makes Kelvin a happy boy! But i really gotta watch my weight from now on!
