A 'foodful' Sunday
Yes, the sign looks broken i know but...
it really isn't as bad and the place isn't as broken down as how the sign looks. I like the place here, one of those few places in Sg where people still push trolleys (and by this i dun mean NTUC etc) to go around with their wares. It was really crowded, far more people than i expected for such an 'old' place (so old that even the sign is partially broken). Not much pics coz my family members are all camera shy. Perhaps we were all looking sloppy in our sunday best and hence not apt to take fotos. But here are some of the scenes of the 'old' place:The long queue can't really be seen but the crowd was amazing at that hour. Some of the food we had. I liked the har kow & chee zhong fun especially. pi dan zhou was good too. One thing still unique about this place is the trolleys where the waitresses push around, so very unlike today's restaurant where you order what you desire.
Went back home and crashed. It was good to sleep but waking up and still struggling with consol isn't. But still, it was a good sunday, certainly what the good old doctor in me advocated for a reduction in stress levels.
