the promised entry abt my memorable 21st bdae held on sunday.the venue was my house.the europhia of that happy evening still lingers in me while the taste of the alcohol that i was made to finish up still nestles in my stomach.i swear i wince when i smell alcohol these days.
what a day.went to play soccer in the morning w the guys.realised that i was no longer as fit as before.no longer able to last the rigours of a match.and coupled with the fact that i was still nursing a bad cough,i was punctured literally before the first half had even ended.Still...still i managed to score and have a say in 2 goals.heh...went back home to slack for awhile but gave up trying to slp coz the phone kept ringing from pple calling to ask for directions.went pick my dear up from her place before proceeding to collect my cake.must have wondered what type of party it was going to be.the people streamed in as dinner approached.broke e news to a few gd frens.the party went on smoothly.the separate groups jus went about their own ramblings of their lives.perhaps, i wasn't really a great host.guess i din really entertain really well.it was time to drink.HE was smart.made me drink a can of Tiger first.i hate beer.they make me feel bloated.everyone who knows abt my clubbing knows i can't take beer.i hate the smell of it.next up was the hard liquor.toasted a few before we adjourned to cut the cake.was high but still okay.i always felt i held my liquor fairly well.perhaps i din take much dinner thats y i puked after the last toast and guest had left.was in a terrible state.my dear was with me through out.thank god for her.this was the first time i drank till such a state when i jus puked and puked.followed my parents who sent her home after that.a nauseous person in a car?u can imagine i jus buried my head in the plastic bags that i had prepared.by the end of the nite,i no longer have to break the news to my family.everyone could see that we were a couple.thats the commitment that i wanted to make coz letting my parents know abt this isn't a small thing considering my parents r quite strict abt my education...dAr,thank u so much for being so understanding that nite.reached home,drank some hot tea and camped next to the toilet bowl for the next 45 mins before going to bed.woke up but no hang over.worst drinking experience ever.but it was a memorable 21st bdae.the key to adulthood-we are only young once.thanks to everyone!
